Overflow!!

We’ve been saying that we are out of space in our soaproom for a year and a half.  Yet, we still managed to cram in more stuff.  Until today.  Yes, the soaproom officially cannot hold anything else.  As a result, we’ve had to overflow all the soap that Jim is making (and that still needs to cure) back to the house.

Goat Milk Soap

That is a photo of 1200 bars of almond goat milk soap curing in Brett’s room.  Once her room is full of soap, then we will start curing soap in my room.  Then Indigo and Jade’s room.

The boys are really hoping that they do not have to cure soap in their rooms because that would mean carrying soap up and down the stairs!  Each of those trays holds 60 bars of soap and weighs about 25 pounds, so that would definitely count as their homeschool PE hours. LOL

The new soaproom is supposed to be completed in September.  We just keep telling ourselves that we can make it that long.  If the soaproom isn’t ready by then it’s going to get really crowded in my house.

The cool part is this is how we started.  When we began Goat Milk Stuff, we were making soap, curing soap, and shipping soap from the house.  There is definitely a feeling of deja vu having so much soap back in the house.  Although when we started it would have taken me weeks to make 1200 bars of almond soap, whereas Jim made all of that in one day!
